As an Information Architect is responsible for understanding a clients’ goals and objectives, gathering requirements, and articulating business and functional needs Duties include: creating task flows, documenting business and functional specifications, and organizing system content and navigation into a relevant and optimized system. The IA will seek to maximize the user experience and the system’s performance by balancing interaction design against system constraints. He/she will also be responsible for monitoring site analytics and suggesting ways to continually improve a digital system.
